19th Century terracotta resin pots used to collect sap from pine trees. All hand made of slightly different form and colour drilled with two little holes to tie around the pine tree and collect the precious sap for making colophony (Rosin) or turpentine. From the Landes pine forest of South West France and all stamped ”J MEYER”. Sold as a lot of 11.
