Late 19th Century French giltwood portrait/landscape mirror. The frame has a beautiful lustrous patina with a distinctive cross hatched motif etched into the gesso and a decorative band of pearls on the sight edge. The plate is original with a pleasing shimmering quality. There is the additional benefit with this mirror of being able to hang either portrait or landscape.
