Each frame and mirror lovingly handmade by carpenters, craftsmen and gilders has developed a unique patina and distinctive quality with time. Whether it be the foxed mercury mirror twinkling like the sky at night or the lustre of a faded gilt frame, character mirrors can bejewel and enhance your interiors.
Occasionally l find very old photographs of people lodged in the frames whilst restoring the mirrors. It is an illustration of the longevity of these precious objects. These mirrors have embellished the interiors of many previous generations and will continue to work their magic long into the future.
