Mid 19th Century giltwood mirror in the neo-classical taste. The frame has a cushioned ogee profile with gadrooning and stylised acanthus decoration. There is a pleasing timeworn patina to the gilding which is complimented by the characterful mercury mirror plate. This mirror is of substantial proportions and could equally be hung portrait.
